Examples of my by-lined journalism and press publicity work

From the mid-nineties up to the present, I have joined and gathered teams to organise a range of events and generated press publicity, which has included front page photos and follow-up news and features.

Press Publicity

This is a sample of print-ready news stories for various artists including an Iranian drummer, a circus group, DJ, comedians, various music groups and art events. Between Nov 2014 and Feb 2015, I ran a press publicity campaign for Bristol-based Eyes for Gertrude. Articles appeared in the Bristol Post, Weekend Post Whats On magazine, Bristol 24/7, 365 Bristol, Music Unbuttoned, DrunkenWerewolf and played on the BBC.

Many article links I had kept have now expired or been moved.

I was asked to publicise a festival of real cider in Exmouth, Devon through the local media and radio to drive ticket sales and raise brand awareness about the ciders and other products. This happened after a conversation at Looe Music Festival with the organisers.

As a result of my press campaign, Devon Life invited me to write a by-lined article about Devon ciders for their October 2015 issue.

Here are examples of press publicity, awareness campaigns and fundraising events I have planned and implemented:
